Can we reduce fuel consumption with chip tuning?

Yes!

There's a special option-- Eco-Tuning♪ This type of reprogramming of the electronic engine control unit, which aims to reduce fuel consumption.

How does Eco-Tunning work?

The logic of eco-tuning on atmospheric and turbated engines is different.

Atmospheres, a decrease of 10 to 12 per cent is achieved mainly by fixed fuelling ratios and accurate ignition upstream adjustment. As a result, there has been an improvement in the dynamics as a rule, along with a lower flow rate. Many might still remember how, during carburetting motors, experienced diagnoses had a manual setting (carburetor+ignition). As a result, the car was moving better and consumed less. And it's not a miracle, it's just an exact set of ignition and fuel lines. That's what we do in modern injection engines, but only at the programme level.

There's a different logic on turbomotors. Thus, most often, we offer our clients an eco-tuning option that allows for a slight increase in the capacity of the turboomotor in the gas-to-sex mode (approximately 10-15%). At the same time, in partial loading modes, i.e. when the gas pedal is pressed by not more than 60 to 70 per cent, and especially when the track is evenly driven (e.g. cruise control mode), we are working towards a significant reduction in fuel consumption. Sometimes the decline reaches 20%, but most often it lies between 10 and 15 per cent.

Eco-tuning is used for both cars and light commercial transport, trucks, buses, special equipment, agricultural machinery.

How will the fuel flow decrease and what is the result of the lower consumption?

For atmospheric engines, the gasoline consumption is reduced to 10 to 12 per cent. On turbocharged engines (i.e. turbodylls), fuel consumption is reduced to an average of 12 to 18 per cent
