Renault Sports Car
The French automobile company Renault will present the first model of the revived Alpine mark at the International Auto-Calon in Geneva. MotorAuthority reports it.
Compact sports car was named Alpine A110, after a single car from 1961 to 1977. The new A110 is largely repetitive of the " predatory " forms, a two-track broomberlynett with a typical headlamp location. Original A110 was popular among the Rollist athletes by virtue of his walking qualities. In 1973, seven wins were held in the cars of the model at different stages of the world championship.
The technical details of the new car are not disclosed. Prototypes are known to have been equipped with a turbated Renault engine with a capacity of 1, 8 litres, but will serial vehicles be released with the same engine installation not reported. Alpine A110 will be sold in Europe in autumn 2017.
Alpine is a French brand of sports cars, founded in 1955 in Diep by an engineer, Jean Redle. The firm collected compact sports cars based on aggregates and Renault engines. In 1973, the stamp was purchased by Renault. The release of Alpine vehicles was terminated in 1995.
